On Saturday 21st August, the club will be celebrating our Life Member, Craig Trott, or as he is known to everyone in the Blades Family, "Trotty", when he takes the field to celebrate game 850. This is a fantastic achievement, and is testament to not only his dedication to his fitness, but also his commitment to the club. Trotty joins Ian Goldspink and Peter Hearne in an exclusive group within the club of players who gave played 850 games.

Congratulations Trotty!!

Eastern Blades Hockey Club have recently completed a 5 week hockey programme at Caversham Valley Primary School. Thank you to the school and teachers for allowing us to run the programme. Also a  big thank you to our coaches – Kate Kelly, Nick Battistessa and Josh Seddon for teaching the kids, from school years 4-6, the basic skills of hockey and providing some great drills. We hope the kids enjoyed the programme and we provided an open invitation to the kids to come down to Altone in season 2021 to join in our junior hockey programme. The Club looks forward to conducting more programmes in Term 1 at local schools to promote both the sport of hockey and our Club.

It has taken a while, but we finally have our new website. Take a look around and see what we have now.

It has a whole new look, easier to navigate, and it also includes a club forum  where you can ask questions, share team news, celebrate our wins, and hear from the club, and most importantly… have some fun. The site is also mobile friendly, so you don't need to zoom in and out all the time.

We are kind of new to this web development, so if you see something that isn't quite right, let us know
